A very old specimen piece that has the battle marks of a true warrior.
Plants of this age do not come up for sale often, it is, at least 10 years old.

Shown in a 125mm pot, it is difficult to capture the true size of this plant in photos.

Pyrrhocactus (Eriosyce) are amongst the slowest growing cacti.
They are relatively fuss free but are rot prone.

For best results choose a position with moderate to strong light.

Watering should be infrequent during active growth (spring to autumn) every 10-14 days.

Do not water during times of extreme cold or heat.

Substrate mix must be free draining - we prefer a high to full mineral mix.
