Why I Started This Blog
I started this blog because I was tired of reading recycled advice that didn’t match what I saw in the nursery every day.
Everything I share here is based on first-hand experience — not theory, not second-hand tips from strangers on the internet. I’ve trialled hundreds of methods and approaches over the years, and what you’ll find here is what actually works. Not the fastest, not the flashiest — just the stuff that’s kept plants alive, thriving, and worth growing.
My methods only need to impress the plants.
There’s a lot of generic, recycled slop out there. It’s not that it’s all wrong — but most of it is written without context, without testing, and without skin in the game. What I offer here won’t be perfect for everyone. Climate, watering habits, and setup all matter. But this can be your framework — a solid place to start and adapt from.
I lean toward a conservative approach. I’d rather see a plant grow slowly and stay alive than push it too hard and lose it. That’s not everyone's style, but it’s what’s worked here — in real pots, with real plants, over real time.
