Hi, I’m Cori 

The man behind the spines (and yes, plenty of flowers too).

My love affair with cacti and succulents started over ten years ago as a casual curiosity.
Like most plant people, I started small—just a few pots.
But it didn’t take long before I was completely hooked.
The sculptural shapes, the resilience, the patience required—it all spoke to me.

Fast forward a decade, and Spine City was born in 2021.

I started the nursery to share my passion for these fascinating plants and to offer something different from the big-box, mass-produced experience.
Every plant at Spine City is grown slowly, carefully, and intentionally—by me, here in Victoria.

I focus on rare and unusual varieties, grown with methods that respect their natural rhythms while also benefiting from the perks of thoughtful cultivation.
This means strong, healthy, well-rooted plants that are ready to thrive - not just survive - in your care.

My goal has never been to grow the most plants, but to grow the best ones.
It’s a slower process, but I believe it’s worth it—for the plants and for the people who love them.
