Astrophytum tricostatum F1 Hybrid (Japan - Sankaku)

Exceptionally rare, highly sought after and rarely seen.

We spent years pursuing this elusive Japanese form, with dozens of attempts ultimately producing just one successful specimen. This one!

A beautifully rounded form carries distinctive Onzuka-like flocking, giving this unusual Astrophytum a refined and unmistakable aesthetic.

Due to the difficulty in producing this form, we no longer pursue it.
An extraordinary opportunity to acquire a genuinely rare specimen with a little Spine City history behind it.

Note: This specimen is prone to splitting, it should be grown slowly and with restraint to maintain form
