Echinocereus ferreirianus v. lindsayi is for true lovers of spines. New spines emerge in bright pink and red, maturing into a formidable display of total spine savagery. Expect oversized magenta flowers and a commanding presence. Slow growing and somewhat rot-prone — use a high-mineral mix and water sparingly.
