Gymnocalycium capillense

Gymnocalycium capillense — compact and powerfully built, wrapped in dense, compressed spines. Its deep, almost magical green body contrasts beautifully with fresh honey-coloured spines. Pups are beginning to form at the base, the reward of a decade of slow, deliberate growth.
